Mid West was founded by Stanton Johns in 1945 and continues today to be family owned and operated. Since then Mid West Fabricating has been a leader in the cold forming of steel into special fasteners and formed rods.

Mid West, a certified WBE per the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, consists of three operating divisions; Our Headquarters is located in Amanda, Ohio. Our west coast division in Santa Fe Springs, California was opened in 1961 in order to provide localized production for our growing customer base. In 1990, Mid West expanded again with the opening of the specialty fastener division in Lancaster, Ohio. Mid West’s growth and geographical diversity allows us to offer more complex and complete solutions to our customer’s needs. Our commitment to quality is evidenced by our IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certifications. Further, we have implemented a 5S program designed to improve the operating environment and team member morale.
