FRANKFURT, Germany — March 25, 2026 — As the doors close on the final day of the inaugural Fastener Expo Frankfurt (FEF), the event has been hailed as a resounding success, establishing a vital new hub for the global fastening and fixing industry. Over the course of three days at Messe Frankfurt, the exhibition successfully fulfilled its mission to connect the Western hemisphere's industrial manufacturing strength with its Eastern counterparts.
A Truly Global Marketplace
The first edition of FEF featured a diverse lineup of 105 exhibitors representing the world's leading fastener-producing regions, including Germany, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Turkey, Brazil, Egypt and Vietnam. This international assembly provided a comprehensive showcase of the entire value chain—from high-strength automotive and aerospace fasteners to innovative assembly technologies and raw materials.
FEF 2026 attracted a highly targeted visitor of 1,195 professional visitors. The attendees included key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement specialists from critical sectors such as automotive, construction, renewable energy, and mechanical engineering.

China Pavilion: From "Made in China" to "Smart Manufacturing" A major highlight of the event was the strong presence of the China Pavilion, showcasing advanced technology and high-end manufacturing solutions. Beyond the exhibition floor, the event's Industrial Forum hosted a series of technical sessions that addressed the industry's most pressing challenges. Highlights included discussions on the impact of global trade policies, carbon duties, and the role of AI-supported systems in modern production. The forum featured industry experts from organizations such as Hatebur, EJOT, and various technical institutes, providing visitors with actionable insights into future market trends.

Building on the momentum of this year's success, Fastener Expo Frankfurt is set to return as a biennial highlight in the industrial calendar.
