About Vamp

Vamp Company manufactures eight to fourteen million weld nuts and specialty fasteners per month in a wide range of sizes and materials in both standard configurations as well as custom and specialty configurations.

Product sizes up to 32mm outside diameter and 1 1/4" hex with both threaded and blank holes. Thread sizes range from M5 to M16 metric and -10 to 3/4" English in all thread classes.

The Vamp Company plant is a 30,000 square feet manufacturing facility and is ISO 9001-2015 registered.

History

Vamp Screw Products, DBA Vamp Company, was founded by Paul Topolewski, Mary Topolewski, and their two sons Vincent and Albert. From the first letter of their four first names, the name "VAMP" was derived.

The business began operation in Huron Township, just west of Flat Rock, Michigan, in 1942. In 1968 the business moved to its current location in Gibraltar, Michigan, approximately twenty miles south of downtown Detroit.
